Who We Are
Blank Eutopia is an architecture firm that designs augmented spaces. These are shared places that bring people together—whether across town, or across the globe.
What We Do
We make augmented spaces that connect people, in-person and remote, in ways that video calls could never match—letting them meet up, host events, or share a coffee.

Founding Story
In his final semester at college, Bryant noticed how hard it was to make new friends. By then, most of his old friends had already graduated. But everything changed on February 12, 2014, when he was introduced to Twitch Plays Pokémon. A random stranger had uploaded the video game Pokémon Red onto a streaming platform called Twitch. Anyone could take control of the game’s main character by typing commands into a chat box. For example, typing in “up” would make the character walk forward. What followed was a bombardment of contradictory instructions as thousands of people took control. They argued over what to do and where to go. The absurdity of the setup made it seem destined to fail.
Despite the chaos, the collective group managed to make progress through the game. Even more impressive, was how the event rippled into real life and broke down barriers. People were talking about it in Bryant's classes. Twitch Plays Pokémon became this quirky icebreaker that enabled him to connect with classmates he'd never spoken to. They shared conversations, created side stories, and crafted memes.
After 16 days and over a million participants, the game was finally beaten. The event taught Bryant something profound—people are drawn to collective experiences, especially when they are fun, creative, and a little unpredictable. Experiences like this make us feel like we're part of something bigger. Bryant became obsessed with designing these kinds of interactions. He often asked himself: How could we make places where people felt they belonged? Where they could contribute, either in person or online? How could architecture and technology blend to create places that felt alive?
From those questions, Blank Eutopia was born. Inspired by the way shared experiences create belonging, Blank Eutopia designs places that bring people together in meaningful ways.
